Sectional/One-piece Garage Doors
There are a number of reasons why one garage door might be right for you and why it might not. Hopefully when you are done reading this, you can make a decision on which garage door is the right option for you.
One-Piece Garage Door
One-piece garage doors are just as the name suggests. They consist of one solid piece as the garage door. There are a variety of styles to choose from. There are wooden options available that are unbelievably beautiful. Wayne Dalton has some very impressive garage doors that you can check their brochure here.
There are also steel garage doors that are available in one-piece that are also very nice to look at. The downside to having a one-piece garage door is both the weight and the clearance space necessary. Which means if you’d like to use your garage for storage then this particular style might not be suited for you.
Sectional Garage Doors
Just like the clever one-piece name, sectional garage doors are the same as the name suggests. It means the garage door is connected through different panels or sections. Each panel can be referred to as a section or panel. Most garage doors have the same panel all the way but you can change a section. Usually the top section can be replaced for one that has windows. The panels with windows come in a lot of different varieties so you will always find exactly what you need.
